Ceramic Coating
Never Wax Again.
Why Choose Ceramic Coating?
Ceramic coatings provide a semi-permanent layer of protection that bonds with your paint. Unlike wax or sealants that wear off quickly, a professional-grade ceramic coating creates a durable, hydrophobic barrier that resists UV rays, chemicals, bird droppings, and more.

Frequently asked questions
System X Product
Is ceramic safe for my paint or PPF?
Does ceramic fade, crack, yellow or peel?
Is ceramic an alternative to wax?
Will ceramic protect my car from scratches?
After a ceramic coating cures, it forms a layer that is up to three times harder than the vehicle’s factory clear coat. This hardness increases resistance to minor scratches and surface marring. System X is a ceramic coating that creates a glass-like barrier over the paint. Although this layer is much more resistant to abrasion than clear coat, it can still be scratched or chipped under sufficient force.
Application
Can I apply System X to my own vehicle?
No, System X must be applied by trained and certified professionals. This product requires extensive preparation, meticulous attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of how solvent-based coatings work.
Can any detailer apply System X to my vehicle?
No, any detailer, dealership, or service center that claims to apply System X without becoming a Certified Installer and being listed on our webpage is making a false claim.
How long does the application take?
The ceramic coating process typically takes a full day for preparation and application, depending on the vehicle’s size, paint condition, and the package selected. The first step involves thoroughly washing and preparing the vehicle. The second step is paint correction, which removes imperfections such as swirl marks and light scratches. Once the surface is properly corrected, a body-shop-safe prep solvent is used to remove any remaining residues and expose the bare paint. At this stage, the coating process begins—each panel is carefully coated, leveled, and layered according to the specific package chosen.
My car has scratches and swirls, can I apply ceramic?
No. Our trained and certified professionals specialize in surface correction. They will restore your vehicle’s paint to the best possible condition before applying the ceramic coating
Durability
Will ceramic protect me from rock chips?
System X ceramic coatings are silica-based products, forming a glass-like layer over the vehicle’s paint. This layer provides enhanced resistance to minor abrasions and small debris impacts, offering some protection against rock chips. However, like automotive glass, the coating is not immune to damage—larger stones or high-speed impacts can still cause rock chips.
Will ceramic prevent water spots?
No, ceramic coatings do not completely prevent water spotting. However, they make water spots much easier to remove without damaging the surface. Because a ceramic coating forms a protective barrier over the substrate, it prevents minerals from corroding or etching the underlying material, helping to preserve the finish on paint, metal, gelcoat, plastic, and vinyl surfaces. Ceramic coatings are silica-based, glass-like products—just like your windshield glass, they can still develop water spots, but they are far more resistant than standard automotive clear coat.
Can I apply ceramic to my own vehicle?
No. Ceramic coatings should only be applied by trained and certified professionals. Proper application requires extensive preparation, precise attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of how solvent-based coatings behave and cure.
What can ceramic be applied to?
VINYL / WRAP:
Ceramic coating helps protect vinyl wraps from accidental spills, stains, oil, grime, and harmful UV rays. System X coatings are flexible and will not crack or peel from the vinyl surface. As with all coated surfaces, the hydrophobic (self-cleaning) effect makes vinyl easier to maintain—reducing the need for multiple cleaning products.
GLASS:
Ceramic coating can be applied to glass surfaces to create a hydrophobic layer that repels water and improves visibility during rain.
CHROME:
Ceramic coating provides excellent protection for chrome and polished metal finishes, helping prevent corrosion, oxidation, and discoloration.
PAINT:
Applying ceramic coating to automotive paint is one of the most effective ways to prevent fading and oxidation over time, maintaining a glossy, protected finish.
LEATHER / TRIM:
Ceramic coating can also be applied to interior leather and trim surfaces, protecting them from UV damage, fading, and stains. It helps maintain a clean, supple finish and makes future cleaning easier.
Maintenance
What do I use to maintain the coating?
That’s one of the great benefits of ceramic coatings. Regular maintenance only requires water and a mild automotive soap. There’s no need for harsh chemicals, clay bars, or abrasive cleaners. Even a quality glass cleaner or rinseless wash solution can be used to safely and easily maintain the coating’s finish.
Do I still need to wax after installing my ceramic?
No. Ceramic coatings serve as a long-term replacement for traditional waxes and sealants. Once applied and properly maintained, there is no need to use wax or sealant products on top of the coating.
Does this product require annual servicing?
Yes. For the System X 6-Year Coating, an annual inspection and maintenance service are required to keep the System X manufacturer warranty valid. These inspections ensure the coating continues to perform as intended throughout the full 6-year warranty period. If an annual inspection is missed, the manufacturer’s warranty may be voided.
The System X 3-Year Coating does not require annual inspections for warranty coverage.
Please note that this requirement applies only to the System X manufacturer warranty—your warranty with us remains active regardless.
I just coated my vehicle, how long til I can wash it?
After application, the System X coating should not get wet for the first 3 days to allow initial curing to begin. If possible, keep the vehicle indoors or in a garage during this time to protect it from moisture and contaminants.
After the initial 3 days, you should still wait a total of 14 days before performing the first wash. This period allows the coating to fully cure and the solvents to outgas. If water spots, bird droppings, or tree sap come into contact with the surface during this time, remove them promptly following our care instructions. The coating is softer during the curing phase, so always handle the paint gently.
