Ceramic Coating

Never Wax Again.

Why Choose Ceramic Coating?

Ceramic coating provides a durable protective layer that bonds directly with your vehicle’s paint. Unlike traditional wax or sealants that wear off quickly, professional ceramic coatings like GYEON EVO create a long-lasting, hydrophobic barrier that protects against UV rays, chemicals, bird droppings, road contaminants, and environmental damage.

The result is deeper gloss, easier maintenance, and long-term paint protection that keeps your vehicle looking newer for years.

Frequently asked questions

GYEON Product

Is ceramic safe for my paint or PPF?
Yes, ceramic products are formulated to be safe for all surfaces including your paint or any kind of paint protection films, or vinyls. Ceramic will not damage your clearcoat or paint and will not void any manufacturer warranties.
No, ceramic will not Crack, Peel or Yellow. Our products have undergone SGS testing and real-life testing in some of the worlds harshest environments, and surpassed every one of them.
Yes, once ceramic is applied you will never need to wax again. Cleaning your vehicle’s paint is as easy as maintain as your glass/windshield. No need for abrasive washes or any waxes/sealants.

Ceramic coating adds a harder protective layer that helps resist light swirl marks and minor scratches. However, it will not make the paint scratch-proof and cannot prevent deeper scratches or rock chips.

Application

Can I apply GYEON Flash Evo to my own vehicle?

No, GYEON must be applied by trained and certified professionals. This product requires extensive preparation, meticulous attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of how solvent-based coatings work.

No, any detailer, dealership, or service center that claims to apply GYEON Flash Evo without becoming a Certified Installer and being listed on our webpage is making a false claim.

Ceramic coating typically takes one full day, depending on the vehicle size, paint condition, and package selected. The process includes paint preparation, paint correction if needed, and precise ceramic coating application.

No. Our trained and certified professionals specialize in surface correction. They will restore your vehicle’s paint to the best possible condition before applying the ceramic coating

Durability

Will ceramic protect me from rock chips?

GYEON ceramic coatings are silica-based products, forming a glass-like layer over the vehicle’s paint. This layer provides enhanced resistance to minor abrasions and small debris impacts, offering some protection against rock chips. However, like automotive glass, the coating is not immune to damage—larger stones or high-speed impacts can still cause rock chips.

No, ceramic coatings do not completely prevent water spotting. However, they make water spots much easier to remove without damaging the surface. Because a ceramic coating forms a protective barrier over the substrate, it prevents minerals from corroding or etching the underlying material, helping to preserve the finish on paint, metal, gelcoat, plastic, and vinyl surfaces. Ceramic coatings are silica-based, glass-like products—just like your windshield glass, they can still develop water spots, but they are far more resistant than standard automotive clear coat.

No. Ceramic coatings should only be applied by trained and certified professionals. Proper application requires extensive preparation, precise attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of how solvent-based coatings behave and cure.

Ceramic coatings can be applied to multiple vehicle surfaces, including:

  • Paint
  • Glass
  • Vinyl wraps
  • Chrome and metal trim
  • Plastic trim
  • Interior leather and trim surfaces

Each surface receives a specialized coating designed for that material.

Maintenance

What do I use to maintain the coating?

That’s one of the great benefits of ceramic coatings. Regular maintenance only requires water and a mild automotive soap. There’s no need for harsh chemicals, clay bars, or abrasive cleaners. Even a quality glass cleaner or rinseless wash solution can be used to safely and easily maintain the coating’s finish.

No. Ceramic coatings serve as a long-term replacement for traditional waxes and sealants. Once applied and properly maintained, there is no need to use wax or sealant products on top of the coating.

Yes. For the 10 Year GYEON FLASH EVO, an annual inspection and maintenance service is required to keep the GYEON manufacturer’s warranty valid. These inspections ensure the coating continues to perform as intended throughout the full 10-year warranty period. If an annual inspection is missed, the manufacturer’s warranty may be voided.

The GYEON MOHS EVO 3-Year Coating does not require annual inspections for warranty coverage.

Please note that this requirement applies only to the GYEON manufacturer warranty—your warranty with us remains active regardless.

After installation, the coating should remain dry for the first 24–48 hours.

For best results, we recommend avoiding washing the vehicle for 7 days to allow the coating to fully cure.
